Yoga is a great way to stay fit and healthy but is also scientifically proven to significantly help people cope with stress, anxiety, PTSD, and depression. With the COVID-19 shutdown, Lahari Yoga, a boutique studio in St. Albert, still wanted to be able to reach customers.
They are beginning to offer paid online classes for an online drop-in rate. Still, for the most part, owner Larissa Whiting and other teachers have been offering free yoga live on Facebook and Instagram every single day! They are also providing recorded versions of classes on their website and Facebook pages so people can watch on their own time.
We updated both our yoga teacher training programs to be available ONLINE! It was a tonne of work to update the program, but the reviews and feedback have been fantastic; people seem to love the convenience and comprehensiveness of online self-directed learning. We still meet as a group over Zoom to discuss course material and to check-in with students.
If you find our studio on the Mindbody app, we do have a few paid online classes starting up as well.
Lahari is a yoga studio offering a wide range of classes in many different yoga styles! When we are an operating business, as usual, we offer over 100 classes a week from 6 am - 9 pm. We also offer Yoga Teacher Training 200hour (RYT200) certification and advanced Registered Yoga Teacher training 500hour (RYT500) certification.
